What’s the Next?

1 . John gave us the inspiration from the artist Atony Gormley.
2.The keywords like bread, mold, human body propel us to the next step.
3.“We use bread as a container to collect and grow human mold.“ That's how the concept came about.

Concept Explain 2.0👆

1.We found out that mould is growing according to the path people walk. We can make a link to mould leaving a trace, based on where people have been.
2. Instead of using tech, we have considered the possibility of using moulds to trace where people are going.

Making Prototype 2.0

1. So we began to make the Bread Carpet which the mold can join.
2. Make a base with plastic wrap, and we will stick the bread with white latex. (Bread said: Halloween is coming)

Making Prototype 2.1

We produced this work as fast as possible.

Making Prototype 2.2

We invite tutors and classmates to go along with the process. Collect mold from everyone's footprints.

Making Prototype 2.3

1. We finished this work on the first Thursday of the first week and we've been recording every day since then. (There is one week until the final presentation)
2. At this moment we are both scared and excited like explorers who have just boarded a ship.

Making Prototype 2.4

1. At first we had no idea about growing mold.
2. I live nearby, so I am responsible for watering the bread carpet regularly. (Because of the graduation exhibition, I can also enter the school on weekends)

Making Prototype 2.5

1. Finally, the bread began to have mold.
2. The growth rate of the mold was very fast in the next few days.

Final Pressentation

1.We let classmates try to walk on this blanket.
2.The whole class got a mold attack when we opened the plastic wrap. lol

Summary Video👆

1.Changes in bread carpet in these 7 days.
2.you can admire it up close.

Feedback

1. Our kitchen story aeiou and final presentation like two stories
2. We should investigate more fully so we can better advance the story
3. If this is data collection on people, it should be anonymous and precise
